Chromatographic Techniques

The course is designed to equip the students with knowledge of basic principles and operation of chromatographic techniques that are used widely among research facilities in the industry as well as in research and academia. Basic techniques such as TLC, Paper Chromatography, Column chromatography as well as sophisticated High-performance liquid chromatography are covered over the 3-month duration.

Eligibility Criteria

All life-science graduates are eligible to join the program. PG students are invited to take up their project work at PIMS.

Career Prospectus

PG final year students are encouraged to take their project work and extend the scope of their work using the chromatographic techniques. Emphasis is given on developing critical thinking and to understand the suitability of a chromatographic technique with respect to the project. Opportunities to interact with the industry experts in the various chromatographic techniques are provided to get up-to-date with the latest developments in the domain.
